Forecast Energy provides monitoring and forecasting service solutions for energy generation and delivery using the world's most advanced methodologies to model renewable energy systems and utility demand response. Intermittent generation also increases the total cost of wind and solar energy, forcing producers to purchase more expensive energy on the spot market when production is lower then anticipated, while increasing storage and operation costs due to suboptimal management.
We benchmark our models with calibration-grade instruments and cloud tracking image processing. Our methodology has been extensively refined, and very accurate results have been obtained for the prediction of Global Horizontal Irradiation, Direct Normal Irradiance, and the Average Power Output of utility-scale photovoltaic solar farm test-beds.
